Parental Involvement

Successful teamwork between parents and educators is important to us because it reflects on the child’s development.

That’s why we have a culture of teamwork at New Braunfels Academy. There is constant interaction between parents and educators as we plan excursions, common activities, and parties.

Throughout the year at NBA, you will have many opportunities for family involvement:

• Reading Hour Workshop
  The parents, gradparents, or guardians of children of all ages read a story to the classroom. See the director for more information.
• Grandparents Day
  Every year, in the month of December, we make it all about the relationship children share with their grandparents. On this day, Grandparents are invited to the school to have lunch with the children, see their classroom, and participate in classroom acitivities.
• Holiday Family Fun Night
  During the month of December, we invite you to celebrate the holidays with us. We open our school to our students and their families to enjoy an evening of games, crafts, sweet treats, photo booth fun, and special performances from our Preschool and Pre-K children!
• Parents’ Night Out
  Once a month, parents will have the opportunity to drop their children off at Parents’ Night Out. Your children will enjoy games, crafts, snacks, and a movie while you enjoy a night on the town.
